The wildly distorted grain of Burl Maple is punctuated with “eyes” of varying size and hue–the result of an injury to the growing tree.
Color ranges from creamy white to light red-brown with deep cocoa-colored eyes.
Maple Burl is used in highly decorative elements for architectural woodwork and furniture production.
